Located steps from Boston’s iconic Faneuil Hall, inside the new Hyatt Centric hotel, Bar Mercato (54 Devonshire Street, downtown Boston) is  designed to be a culinary and cultural melting pot inspired by favorite  European food halls and public markets that Trio Restaurant Group founders  have  visited on their globe-trotting travels.

In European culture, a visit to  a food hall or open air market is a social event and destination-worthy  meeting spot for locals on a daily basis - an experience they have  strived to recreate into the Bar Mercato restaurant concept. Executive  Chef, Casey Lovell (former sous chef at Post 390)  oversees the  culinary program which will be a cross-section of small and diverse  plates representative of these pan-Euro markets, from charcuterie to  mezzes, gourmet fried foods to creative seafood snacks.

Located on the  lobby level of the hotel, Bar Mercato has 52 dining room seats  with an additional 19 seats at an expansive wrap-around bar.  The bar program spotlights  regional European wines and beers as well as creative  cocktails and a robust vermouth selection. During the day, Bar Mercato will also serve as a grab and go cafe, offering a curated selection of espresso, coffee, tea and other light offerings.
